Your Funeral Guy: Rest in Peace (R.I.P)
Death happens. We do not like to think about this. The highest cost of a funeral is the death of the person involved. It is often thrust unexpectedly or too quickly upon us. Sometimes out of nowhere it comes to us. Most of the time we get through or escape the grim reaper. There will come a time however when we all will have to rest in peace.
In 2007 Your Funeral Guy had an experience with this. I went to the hospital for a routine test. Within a few hours I was in intensive care. My doctor came in, a friend who closed the door and said You may not get out of here alive.
I actually had been sick for about a year when this happened. I had started a book that helped folks lower the cost of their family funerals. After the the doc left the room I decided I was not going to go until I finished the book. So up came the printer and the computer the book was completed just after I left the hospital.
Less than a year later the book, Rest in Peace Insiders Tips to the Low Cost Less Stress Funeral was available on Amazon.
There is more to the story. I am amazed what I accomplished when I thought I was going to Rest in Peace in a short time. Recently I have been impressed what other folks have done in similar circumstances.
